I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint.  My heart is like wax, it is melted within me.  My strength is dried up like a broken pot and my tongue sticks to my jaws and you lay me in the dust of death. Dogs have surrounded me.  A band of evil men has surrounded me.  They pierced my hands and my feet.  I can count all my bones.  They look and stare at me.  They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.  Psalm 22:12-18  written 1000 b.c.

When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them with the undergarment remaining.  This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. "Let's not tear it," they said to one another.  "Let's decide by lot who will get it."   John 19:23-24

One of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.  John 19:34

This prophecy was written hundreds of years before crucifixion was even invented as a means of execution. They pierced my hands and feet did not make any sense until hundreds of years after this passage was written.
